Stroke survivors in Belfast and North Down who attend their local Stroke Association support groups will be able to make the often costly trips for free, after funding from the George Best Belfast City Airport Community Fund. Users of the charityÕs weekly Communication Development programmes who currently pay half of their travel expenses themselves, with the other half paid by the Stroke Association, will now be able to avail of the ÔBelfast City Airport Travel SchemeÕ which ensure users will not have to pay any travel expenses for an entire year. Celebrating the announcement is Speech & Language Therapy Assistant Sylvia Gillies from Stroke Association, Gilli McCready from George Best Belfast City Airport; and Stroke Association service user, Joan Lyttle
