Frontier Airlines and Juniper Bank Launch Co-Branded Frontier MasterCards

DENVER, CO, 2013-02-14 — /travelprnews.com/ — Juniper Bank (www.juniperbank.com), a leading full-service credit card issuer, today announced a partnership with Denver-based Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT) to exclusively offer Frontier MasterCard products to consumers, customers and Frontier’s EarlyReturns frequent flyer members. The Frontier/Juniper Bank co-branded MasterCard will offer the most aggressive affinity card program because free travel can be earned for as little as 15,000 miles.

“Today’s announcement provides one more component to our mission to build loyalty among Frontier customers and introduce Frontier’s low fares to more travelers,” said Frontier Airlines Vice President, Marketing and Planning Sean Menke. “Juniper Bank’s proven experience in designing valuable marketing programs and its strong commitment to its partners made it the desired choice for us. We’re confident that Juniper will provide our loyal customers with a quick and easy way to redeem miles, coupled with the same high level of service that travelers equate with Frontier Airlines.”

“This announcement demonstrates our strong ability to deliver quality reward programs to our partners,” said Kevin Kleinschmidt, Director of Business Development at Juniper Bank. “Our partners value our products’ ability to reach new customers and to strengthen customer loyalty. We are extremely pleased to be partnering with Frontier Airlines. Their ability to provide the most competitive mileage redemption offer for EarlyReturns members is remarkable and shows a strong commitment to their customers.”

Today’s announcement includes two new credit card offerings from Frontier’s EarlyReturns frequent flyer program, both offering free travel for as little as 15,000 miles. Customers have the option to select the product that best fits their financial needs:

  • Frontier WorldCard MasterCard – Approved customers will receive 7500 bonus miles and two miles for every dollar spent on air travel with Frontier Airlines, and one mile for every dollar spent on all other credit card purchases. There is a $49 annual fee.
  • Frontier Platinum MasterCard – Earns customers one mile for every $2 of credit card purchases. There is no annual fee.
  • Customers can choose from four card designs each depicting Frontier’s signature wolf, rabbit, lynx or fox.

Frontier’s EarlyReturns frequent flyer membership program was launched in February of 2002, and requires lower redemption miles than industry standards for earning free tickets. The WorldCard MasterCard program with Juniper Bank continues Frontier’s commitment to providing its customers and program members with the quickest and most competitive way to earn miles.
