Four Seasons Resort Megève will reopen for the 2026/27 winter season on December 16, placing a new spa partnership, expanded outdoor wellness and festive dining at the centre of its first winter since receiving France’s Palace distinction.

The reopening gives the 55-room-and-suite property a fresh seasonal platform after its elevation to Palace status earlier this year. Set on Mont d’Arbois with direct ski-in, ski-out access, the resort is using the winter relaunch to broaden its appeal beyond the slopes, with new beauty technology, outdoor spa facilities, Christmas and New Year programming and private high-altitude experiences.

Details released by Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts on September 10 show a winter programme that combines the hotel’s established mountain access with a stronger focus on wellness and gastronomy. The seasonal programme also extends across family activities, snowshoeing, dog sledding and guided ski experiences.

myBlend becomes a major new spa partner

The most significant new addition is an exclusive Megève collaboration with myBlend. Four Seasons says the resort will offer the brand’s complete range of face and body treatments and will become the first destination in France to preview CellSynergy2, a professional skincare system combining radiofrequency, ultrasound, electrostimulation and cryo-thermotherapy.

The technology is paired with a facialist method developed with Chantal Lehmann, while the myBlend LED mask forms part of the treatment offer. The resort is also retaining QMS Medicosmetics and its own signature treatments, creating a broader menu aimed at post-ski recovery as well as longer-form wellness stays.

Outside, the nearly 900-square-metre spa is introducing winter use of its new open-air spaces for the first time. A heated whirlpool overlooks the snowy landscape, while a natural-wood sauna with a salt wall accommodates up to eight guests. The resort is positioning the combination as a hot-and-cold Nordic-style ritual, with guests moving between the sauna and the mountain air.

Other established treatments remain part of the programme, including Promenade à Megève, inspired by Alpine nature, and guided meditation sessions using a flotation bed filled with 600 litres of Epsom salts.

Festive menus stretch from the village to the slopes

Dining is another major part of the winter relaunch. At Benjamin, chef Armando Acquaviva has created separate Christmas and New Year’s Eve menus based on French festive traditions. Kaito will take a Japanese-led approach to New Year’s Eve, while L’Idéal 1850 remains the resort’s on-mountain restaurant overlooking Mont Blanc.

Acquaviva’s award-winning fondue also returns beneath a geodesic dome in the gardens. The recipe combines Comté, Beaufort, Reblochon and Parmesan, reflecting both Savoyard tradition and the chef’s Italian Alpine background.

The resort’s wine cellar, which holds more than 17,000 bottles, will continue to host private dinners arranged by head sommelier Samy Sbiti, with pairings built around menus from Benjamin or Kaito.

A third edition for the Rochebrune Yule log

For Christmas, pastry chef Jonathan Chapuy is bringing back La Télécabine de Rochebrune for a third edition. The 2026 version combines jasmine, sesame and vanilla from Madagascar and Tahiti in a gluten-free composition with jasmine crémeux, soft vanilla caramel, sesame sponge, vanilla mousse and a dark chocolate and sesame praline base.

The Yule log will be available by advance order from December 21 to 31 for EUR 149 and is designed to serve eight to 10 people. It sits alongside seasonal spa rituals including the myBlend x Four Seasons Megève Signature Treatment, a New Year, New Skin body ritual and personalised bath experiences with winter fragrances.

Skiing remains central, but the winter offer goes wider

The resort’s position on Mont d’Arbois keeps skiing at the heart of the stay. Guests can arrange ski and snowboard passes as well as private or group lessons with ESF. Touring and cross-country skiing are also part of the activity mix.

Beyond downhill skiing, the programme includes snowshoe excursions through fir forests, dog-sled outings and an igloo experience with afternoon tea or a Savoyard aperitif. Younger guests have access to the Kids Club and the Nemo Passport activity trail, while older children can use the Teen Zone with arcade games, consoles, table football and a private cinema.

Suite Idéal offers a night above the ski area

At the upper end of the resort’s winter offer is Suite Idéal, located at 1,850 metres on the first floor of L’Idéal 1850. The suite measures more than 100 square metres and overlooks Mont Blanc and the Aravis range.

Once the ski area closes for the day, guests can remain on the mountain for a private dinner, stargazing and an overnight stay with dedicated butler service. The following morning, the experience includes the opportunity to ski before the slopes open more widely.

Four Seasons Resort Megève’s December reopening therefore arrives as more than a seasonal restart. The resort is using its first winter as a Palace-designated property to combine direct mountain access with new wellness technology, broader spa facilities and a carefully layered festive programme, reinforcing Megève’s position as both a ski destination and a luxury winter retreat.
