Making luxurious dream weddings come true with comprehensive planning tips, menu design, venue considerations and more – all from seasoned wedding professionals
Macau, China, 2016-Jul-20 — /Travel PR News/ — Four Seasons Hotel Macao, Cotai Strip re-launches of Wedding University, a complimentary half-day program for soon-to-be wedded couples, imparting essential information, useful tips and insider insight needed to prepare for the wedding celebrations of their dreams. Since 2013, Wedding University has been held on an annual basis, becoming a highly anticipated event for potential brides and grooms. This year’s event, an upgraded edition, will take place on August 13, 2016 in the grand ballroom of the Hotel.
“We are excited to bring Wedding University back with more comprehensive information and tips than ever, providing couples with the key components of luxury wedding planning,” says Carolina Lemos, Director of Catering and Conference Services, Four Seasons Hotel Macao. “In addition to covering budgeting, action plans, timelines, banquet menu design and wine pairing, and venue selection, students can learn more from first-hand interaction with seasoned wedding planning professionals.”
Such speakers include Madam Kun, a Chinese wedding custom veteran who will explain the proper wedding ceremony procedures and wedding day etiquette; and a Van Cleef & Arpels diamond specialist who will discuss diamond quality assessment and current wedding ring fashion trends.
Also, a make-up artistry team from Duty Free Shop will offer advice, demonstrating make-up techniques and helping brides-to-be devise a one-day make up design plan to match their wedding gown and evening dresses. Backed with impressive credentials, the team comprises specialists certified by LIBS Beauty School, New York; SBS Broadcasting & Media, Seoul, South Korea; ABC Wedding Planner Certificate, USA; Lancome, Tokyo; Anna Sui, Taiwan; and Miss Asia, New York City, as well as those with extensive experience as make-up artists and stylists in New York, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau.
For wedding gowns, Four Seasons Hotel Macao has engaged three wedding gown design houses to participate in the event, each specialising in a different style. They include a local company that custom makes gowns according to the bride’s personality; a firm that focuses on European designer wedding gowns; and a Taiwanese wedding gown specialist. On top of the Western wedding gowns that will be showcased, there will be a display of traditional Chinese wedding dresses. During the event, a model clad in the most lavish traditional Chinese wedding dress, boasting a high density of silver thread and elaborate embroidery, will dazzle and inspire the attendees.
Moreover, the Hotel has invited the top three local venue décor companies to present their concepts and designs. They will set up three stages and backdrops in distinctly compelling styles. At the same time, six exquisite round banquet table decorations in different colour schemes will be displayed, marking the first time such designs are offered for public viewing.
