Four Seasons Hotel Houston Does It Four Ways

Ringing in the New Year Downtown comes with lots of options

Houston, U.S.A. – 2012-12-13 — /travelprnews.com/ — Anyone in a quandary on what to do for kissing 2012 goodbye and welcoming in 2013 need only apply a little Four-sight. Downtown’sFour Seasons Hotel Houston, to be exact.

Four Seasons Hotel Houston with its highly popular Italian restaurant Quattro and hopping first-floor Lobby Lounge is offering four options in both celebrating the last day of the old year and the first day of the new.

Beginning with seating at 6:30 pm on Monday, December 31, Quattro is preparing a delicious five-course dinner for those with plans elsewhere (even if it’s just to get home early). This early seating begins with a glass of sparkling wine, and guests will be on their way by 8:30 pm. The cost is USD 85.00 per person, plus tax and gratuity.

Veteran revellers know any New Year’s Eve party not atFour Seasons means settling for second best, and this year will be no exception. Beginning at 8:30 pm, this year’s gala offers a seven-course dinner, carefully planned by Executive Chef Maurizio Ferrarese. Live music from Ira Perez & Band will definitely prompt some dancing between courses and after dessert, and, of course, there’s a Champagne toast at midnight. The cost is USD 155.00 per person, plus tax and gratuity.

And with the safest drive home being the elevator, Four Seasons is offering to be home for gala guests with a stay in an Executive Suite for just USD 150.00. For room reservations, call 1 800 734 4114.

Then there’s the Lobby Lounge on the first floor, where midnight will arrive with Adam and Sunjay singing holiday hits. The band performs from 9:00 pm until 1:00 am on New Year’s Eve. There are limited VIP Tables available for reservations on a first call, first booked basis.

On Tuesday, January 1, the sun will rise – hopefully not too early – and 2013 will have begun. There’s no question that starting a new year with Quattro’s famed brunch (the one usually reserved for Sundays) is getting things off on the right foot. There’s even the popular Bloody Mary Bar for that hair of the dog thing. Brunch runs from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm. Cost is USD 65.00 for adults and USD 30.00 for children 6-12. Tax and gratuity are additional.

Reservations are required for the New Year’s Eve early seating and gala. Reservations for New Year’s Day brunch are recommended.
