Cairo at Nile Plaza, Egypt, 2019-Jan-26 — /Travel PR News/ — Cairo’s most celebrated Italian restaurant, Bella, is set for an exciting new era in its glorious culinary history, as Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza welcomes Chef Cristian Lisci as the Italian Chef de Cuisine. With unrivalled experience including Michelin-starred restaurant Edilio, Lisci will be taking Bella restaurant into a new journey of flavours with the launch of the restaurant’s new menu.

Lisci discovered his culinary passion and dreamed of being a chef since his earliest days while living in his hometown in Sardinia, Italy. He has rightfully earned his place at the helm, having worked as sous chef at Michelin star restaurant Edilio in Genoa as well as chef de cuisine at Il Mirtillo restaurant in Megeve, which appeared in the Pudlo Guide.

Lisci’s appointment signals an evolution in Bella restaurant, as he creates a huge amount of change to the restaurant menu. His new menu pulls together a selection of Italian classics along with seasonal favourites, using the finest and freshest ingredients crafted with passion, precision and artistry to bring together a work of art on each dish.

“From freshly homemade pasta and authentic antipasti such as vitello tonnato to the hearty agnolotti del plinand slow-cooked ossobuco alla Milanese, the menu is packed with flavours and freshness showcasing unusual authentic Italian specialities,” says Lisci. “Prawns artichoke salad along with sea bass all’acquapazza are unmissable.”

Lisci brings more than two decades of gathered global experience and expertly executed Italian cuisine to Cairo. In his new role, Chef Cristian will oversee the culinary operation for Cairo’s renowned Italian restaurant Bella, and will work hand in hand with the masterful restaurant artisans to keep the traditional flavours of Italy alive and bring a slice of La Dolce Vita in the heart of Cairo.

In 2015 he received the opportunity to bring his culinary expertise in the Italian cuisine to Four Seasons, as he joined Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay as the Italian Sous Chef at Vento restaurant. This was only the beginning to his successful journey with Four Seasons, which makes Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza undoubtedly excited for the innovative culinary leap that is about to happen at Bella restaurant by adding new sparks to the glory of the finest Italian restaurant in the city.

“Cooking has been part of my life from 25 years; it’s a kind of blank paper that I have to draw on, it’s like art,” says Lisci from the beautiful land of the Pharaohs.
