Flybe to host its first-ever Open House event on 13th September 2018 in Belfast
BELFAST, Northern Ireland, 2018-Sep-05 — /Travel PR News/ — Flybe, the largest regional airline operating out of George Best Belfast City Airport, will be bringing to life its new ‘Close To You’ strapline on 13th September 2018 when Flybe Country Manager, Ken Harrower will host the airline’s first-ever Open House for existing and potential customers in Northern Ireland.
To be held in the Grand Central Hotel, Belfast between 11.30-15.00, the open invitation to business travellers, travel bookers and their appointed travel management companies, will enable them to discuss their corporate and personal travel needs on a one-to-one basis.
Ken Harrower explains:
“Flybe is passionate about connecting regional communities and George Best Belfast City Airport is of particular significance. As our third largest base operating up to 570 flights a week and carrying 1.7 million passengers annually, it’s strategically important to our network. Obviously, it’s impossible to personally engage with all those passengers and the nature of the airline business now is that the majority of interface with the customer is online. However, our experience is that corporate customers often have specific requirements to which we’d like to bring a more personal touch whether it be about group bookings, frequency of travel, flexibility of tickets or just exploring the timings and convenience of flights. The importance of that community engagement, reflecting our new strapline ‘Close to You’, was one of the reasons that the new role of Country Manager was created.
“My task is to provide a renewed sales focus and become closer to our customers and stakeholders in order to understand their individual travel needs. In turn, I can amongst many other things, discuss details about our services and highlight the many opportunities for onward global travel through our many codeshare partners. The Open House event on 13thSeptember will provide a first-ever opportunity for customers to make contact in an informal way and so form the basis of an ongoing professional relationship for mutual benefit.”
The Flybe Open House will take place between 11.30 and 15.00 on Thursday 13th September in the Panorama Suite, 2nd Floor, Grand Central Hotel, Belfast. No appointment is necessary – and refreshments will be provided.
