Fiji Airways welcomes Edwin Nand as the new Manager of Corporate Communications
Nadi, Fiji, 2022-Jun-14 — /Travel PR News/ — Fiji Airways, Fiji’s National Airline, has appointed Mr. Edwin Nand as the new Manager of Corporate Communications.
Mr. Nand will take up the role on 27th June, 2022.

We plan to continue communicating the success of our ramp-up in services to the industry, the public, and our partners and passengers. On the corporate side, we’re focused on continually investing in and developing our people –– with a specific focus on hiring local and achieving gender equity from the cockpit to the cabin, to the runway,” said Andre Viljoen, Managing Director and CEO of Fiji Airways. “Edwin is a natural communicator with more than two decades of experience in the media space. After relying on him most evenings for the nightly news, we’re proud to bring him into the Fiji Airways family to lead our corporate communications strategy.”
Mr. Nand says he is looking forward to joining the National Airline.

Between 2001 and 2022, Mr. Nand has worked in various broadcast media positions including Deputy News Manager at Fijian Broadcasting Corporation where he is also the main anchor for the 7pm prime time News.
He has also had experience during the 2018 General Election where he worked as Stakeholder Awareness Coordinator before being promoted to Acting Director of Communications.
