Abu Dhabi, UAE, 2014-7-9 — /Travel PR News/ — Etihad Cargo, the freight division of UAE flag carrier Etihad Airways, has been awarded the ‘Air Cargo Industry Customer Care Award’ at the 2014 Air Cargo Week (ACW) World Air Cargo Awards.
The award, voted by Etihad Cargo customers, was presented recently to David Kerr, Etihad Airways Vice President Cargo, at ACW’s annual cargo industry awards ceremony held in Shanghai, China.
Etihad Cargo was lauded for having a defined and measureable customer care policy, a proactive approach to customer service and an effective strategy for problem resolution.
“Our customers and their cargo needs are at the heart of the Etihad Cargo business model, and the industry’s recognition is a reflection of what continues to keep us ahead,” Mr Kerr said.
“This award is also testament to our continuous focus on new and existing customers, how they put their trust in us, how we manage these important relationships and our strategy of continuing to innovate with our leading edge customer-targeted cargo solutions.
“Listening, being flexible and ready to adapt at a moments notice to constantly changing customer needs will remain a hallmark of what keeps Etihad Cargo on top and the number one choice for customers.
“As a global cargo operator, we look forward to working ever closer with our customers in the years ahead and always being on hand as a trusted partner to drive value for their businesses.”
