Etihad Airways selected RMG Networks (RMGN) as its onboard media sales provider

Abu Dhabi, UAE, 2014-2-10 — /travelprnews.com/ — Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, has appointed RMG Networks (RMGN), a leading provider of technology-driven video advertising and visual communications solutions, as its onboard media sales provider.

RMG has a comprehensive network of partners and leading sales expertise to market the Etihad Airways media channels to a global client base as demand for the airline’s premium travel media opportunities increases.

“Global advertisers have told us that they want access to a premium international audience for cross-border campaigns. We plan to continue to expand our network to help marketers reach and engage travelers in-flight and throughout their journey and Etihad will ideally respond to this growing demand,” said Garry McGuire, Chief Executive Officer, RMG Networks.

Peter Baumgartner, Chief Commercial Officer, Etihad Airways, said: “RMG Networks offers Etihad Airways a global network of major blue-chip clients who are looking for quality print and digital airline media assets to communicate effectively with their key premium audiences. For Etihad RMG was the clear choice when we sought out a premier partner to work with to help us expand our own media channels and enhance our ancillary revenue opportunities.”

In addition to its airline media division, RMG Networks’ blue chip clients include companies such as Lexus, HSBC, Porsche, Amex, ebay, Blackberry and Microsoft, among others, and the partnership with Etihad Airways will offer these brands the opportunity to benefit from the airline’s experience and vast global footprint.
