Resort marks Breast Cancer Awareness Month with special offerings

Enjoy a pampering Spa package, specialty cocktails and tapas in Talavera and Onyx Bar & Lounge, and a special rose wine of the week every Wednesday.
Book the “Pretty in Pink” package in the Spa and receive a choice of a 50-minute Custom Facial, Sole Satisfaction or Aromatherapy Body Polish, as well as an Aromatherapy Manicure. The package concludes with refreshing pink hibiscus water, and guests also receive a take-home sheet of tips promoting awareness and education of breast cancer prevention. The Pretty in Pink package retails for USD 195.00.
For the month of October, Talavera and Onyx Bar & Lounge will feature a Pink Drink, made with hibiscus, ginger beer and rum, for USD 10.00. Three tapas are available in Onyx Bar & Lounge, including charred hanger steak with blueberry chipotle glaze, Santa Barbara pastrami salmon with a quail egg and chive cream, and pomegranate sundae with chia seed crumble. Each bite-sized morsel retails for USD 5.00.
The popular “Wine Wednesday” program will be tinted pink for the month of October. Join Onyx Bar & Lounge every Wednesday for a new featured wine, including choices such as ‘J’ Sparkling Rose, Heitz Cellars Grignolino Rose and the wine of the month, Verdad Grenache Rose. A portion of all proceeds of the Breast Cancer Awareness Month events and special offerings will be donated to Mayo Clinic’s Breast Clinic in Arizona, which helps support breast cancer research.
