Dragonair Cancels Flights to and from Busan Tomorrow due to Impact of Severe Typhoon Bolaven

Hong Kong, 2012-08-27 — /travelprnews.com/ — Dragonair today (Friday, 24 August) announced that based on the latest weather forecast for Typhoon Tembin, the airline plans to operate its two evening flights to Kaohsiung and one evening flight from Kaohsiung as scheduled.

The Kaohsiung flights this evening (24 August) which are planned to operate as scheduled are:

Separately, based on the latest weather forecast for Severe Typhoon Bolaven, the airline will cancel its Okinawa flights on Sunday (26 August).  The aircraft deployed for the Okinawa flights on Saturday (25 August) will be upgraded to an A330 to accommodate those passengers originally scheduled to travel on Sunday’s cancelled flights.

Passengers whose flights are cancelled are advised not to go to the airport. Dragonair will assist with alternative arrangements for affected passengers and they are advised to review booking changes and update their contact details for receiving the latest flight status updates via SMS or email in Manage My Booking at www.dragonair.com.

Passengers who are booked on flights to or from Okinawa departing on 26 August are encouraged to either advance or postpone non-essential travel. The airline will waive re-booking and re-routing charges for all tickets issued worldwide (irrespective of fare type) on or before 24 August for travel on Dragonair to or from Okinawa on 26 August.

Passengers are advised to first check the latest flight information on the airline’s website before departing for the airport.
