21st Annual Magnificent Mile Lights Festival and Ritz Tree Lighting

The BMO Harris Bank Lights Festival on Saturday, November 17, 2012 marks the official kick-off to the holiday season in Chicago and at The Ritz-Carlton Chicago. Post parade, The Ritz will host its second annual lobby tree lighting at 7:30 pm. Adults can enjoy a complimentary glass of Champagne or a seasonally-inspired cocktail around the tree, while children will enjoy hot chocolate. Raise a glass to the start of the season as The Ritz lights its lobby tree decorated by American Girl Place Chicago.

Haute Hats and Holiday High Tea

Indulge in a holiday favuorite with a fashionable twist as Chicago milliners Loreta Corsetti and Laura Whitlock showcase stylish hats perfect for staying festively fashionable during holiday gatherings.

Teddy Bear Storytelling Teas

Children and adults will enjoy the holiday tradition of Afternoon Tea for a cause. Children are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped teddy bear or toy to donate to Lurie Children’s Hospital. At 4:00 pm, children will place their teddy bears and toys under the tree as they listen to holiday stories by Mrs. Claus.

Join deca for an extraordinary Christmas Day brunch featuring a bountiful buffet with selections such as a fresh and smoked seafood station, carving station, roasted Christmas goose, and festive breakfast fare including red velvet pancakes with lemon ricotta, and omelets made-to-order, all topped off with holiday desserts. New Year’s Eve

Usher in 2012 in style at deca RESTAURANT + BAR with stations of delectable fare and a toast with a glass of Dom Pérignon Champagne. Guests can take in the sounds of a live five-piece band while enjoying a seafood and caviar bar, handmade sushi, charcuterie and hors d’oeuvres as well an entrée station featuring lobster thermidor and a bison tenderloin roast. A decadent chocolate dessert display caps off the festive dinner.
