IHOP Express® is the first location on secure side of an airport for iconic brand

DALLAS, TX, 2017-Oct-27 — /Travel PR News/ — Hot, fluffy pancakes, late-night dining and all-day breakfast are the hallmarks of IHOP that customers traveling through Dallas Fort Worth International (DFW) Airport can now enjoy. The IHOP Express®, located in the newly-renovated Terminal E, is the first IHOP restaurant to be located on the secure side of an airport. Affording passengers both a sit down dining experience, including adult beverages, as well as the added convenience of a hot meal to go, the DFW location expects to serve 1,000-plus visitors a day, on average.

“We’re thrilled to welcome IHOP to serve the nearly 67-million customers that travel through DFW Airport every year,” said Ken Buchanan, Executive Vice President of Revenue Management at DFW Airport. “IHOP is an iconic brand that will be easily recognized by DFW Airport customers from around the world. Just like DFW, IHOP is always finding new ways to attract, serve and delight its guests, and we look forward to the brand and its franchises offering breakfast and more, all day, every day to passengers in Terminal E.”

“We’re proud to partner with Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, one of the world’s leading and busiest airports, to offer passengers a family-friendly dining option in a central location within the terminal,” said Darren Rebelez, IHOP president. “Being where our guests are, and want us to be, continues to be a priority for IHOP. Expanding our footprint to include post-security locations in airports allows us to bring guests on the go the same great experience and craveable food they know and love from IHOP.”

“Having developed other airport concepts, we felt IHOP would be an excellent addition to DFW International and our portfolio. With the support provided by Zenola Campbell, VP of Concessions, and Michael Baldwin, AVP of Concessions, we knew the wide appeal of the brand among guests of all ages — and the fact both IHOP and DFW are committed to providing visitors with outstanding quality and service — made it a great match. Offering fun beverages like mimosas, Bloody Mary’s, and local craft beer becomes just another first for DFW to showcase,” said, Don Mitchell of D&B Mitchell Group. “As franchise operators of the IHOP Express at DFW Airport, we’re excited to welcome passengers into our restaurant to enjoy a hot meal that can be savored while waiting to board a flight or taken to go and enjoyed in the air.”

Whether departing early in the morning or waiting for a connecting flight in the late afternoon, passengers visiting the IHOP Express at DFW Airport can enjoy a wide variety of freshly prepared menu items 24 hours a day. From new flavors in the bar to classic favorites, offerings at this IHOP Express include:
