2012-08-08 — /travelprnews.com/ — Cathay Pacific Airways today (Wednesday, 8 August) announced that four flights to and from Shanghai remained cancelled, but plans are underway for resuming operations on a limited scale after midnight.

We anticipate disruption and potential air traffic control delay on 9 August (tomorrow) as airlines work to recover their schedules, so passengers are strongly advised to defer non-essential travel and check the latest flight information on the airline’s website before going to the airport. The airline will waive re-booking and re-routing charges for all tickets issued worldwide (irrespective of fare type) on or before 7 August for travel on Cathay Pacific to, from or via Shanghai between 7 and 10 August.
