Business Travel Forum takes off

2012-07-21 — /travelprnews.com/ — Business people from across Bristol took the opportunity to share their views on travel related issues at a special event hosted by Bristol Airport and easyJet recently (26 June). The Business Travel Forum took place at the city’s Mercure Holland House Hotel following a successful inaugural event held last year.

The Forum followed an online survey in which business travellers were asked their opinions on the destinations, airlines and facilities available at Bristol Airport. Respondents were then invited to the event where the survey results were shared by the airport team. Guests also got the chance to question Aviation Director, Shaun Browne, on developments at the Airport, as well as receiving an update from easyJet, which serves a range of popular business destinations from Bristol, including Berlin, Toulouse, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

All those who completed the survey were entered into a prize draw, with Martyn Fowler of Rolls Royce the lucky winner of a pair of return tickets to Naples from Bristol with easyJet.

Following last year’s event a number of changes were made as a result of feedback from business travellers, including the introduction of free Wi-Fi and the launch of Inner Circle, a dedicated newsletter for frequent flyers.

Jason Wescott, Head of Sales and Marketing at Bristol Airport, said:
“We recognise the importance of receiving feedback from regular travellers. The Forum was a great opportunity to talk to our customers and for them to hear how we are working to further improve the airport experience and the range of services on offer.

“We intend to make the Forum a regular event, but in the meantime we have a dedicated Business Development Executive is actively looking to work with organisations in the region to find out how we can help to meet their travel needs.”
