Business Partners Drive Successful Fundraising Effort for Children’s Hospice South West at Bristol Airport Golf Day

(NEWS) BRISTOL, UK, 2026-Jun-8 — /Travel PR News/ — Bristol Airport has raised more than £30,000 for Children’s Hospice South West through a charity golf day involving contractors, business partners and companies connected to the airport’s ongoing development projects.

Based on official press update shared by Bristol Airport, the event, held at The Players Golf Club in South Gloucestershire, brought together 96 players across 24 teams. Many participants represented organisations working with Bristol Airport, including companies involved in its Terminal Transformation programme, which is scheduled for completion in 2028.

The fundraising day was coordinated by Andrew Goodenough, Infrastructure Director at Bristol Airport, and Lydia Jacquety, Commercial Development Executive. The event also received support from St Austell Brewery, which provided refreshments during the “Closest to the Pin” competition.

Children’s Hospice South West provides hospice care and support for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions across the region. Its work includes family-centred care, emotional support and experiences designed to help families make the most of time together.

The golf day forms part of a wider partnership between Bristol Airport and Children’s Hospice South West, with further fundraising activities planned.

Participating organisations included Barnwood, N G Bailey, Aureos, D5 Architects, Volker Fitzpatrick, Smiths Detection, Another Level, Alun Griffiths, All Power, JG Fencing, Stantec, Encon, Farrans, SIS Systems, Amalga, Lagan Airport Maintenance, Massey Cladding Solutions, V3 Group, Zoeftig, PLS Civil Engineering, QuantumCLS, Ryebridge, Whiteheads and Lancer Scott.
