APPOINTMENTS AT THE AIR FRANCE COMMUNICATIONS DIVISION

2013-03-01 — /travelprnews.com/ — In line with the transformations currently underway at the Company, the Air France Group’s Communications division has been reorganized.

– Jean-Charles Tréhan has been promoted to the position of VP Communications in charge of Information and Contents. Within the framework of his new position, he will supervise the Press Office, the internal and external contents, the internal and managerial communications, the audiovisual department and the in-flight magazines (Air France Magazine and Air France Madame). He also joins the Air France Management Committee.

Under his responsibility, Cédric Leurquin becomes Director of the Press Office, after having spent four years as Spokesperson in charge of International media.

– Pierre de Saint-Albin has been appointed VP for Brand and Advertising. He is also in charge of the new customer communications department which has joined the Communications division.

– Sandrine Marsal has been appointed General Manager of the Partnerships and Event Management division.

Jean-Charles Tréhan, Pierre de Saint-Albin and Sandrine Marsal report directly to Adeline Challon-Kemoun, SVP Communications and a member of the Air France Group’s Executive Committee.

A graduate of the IEP (political science institute) of Paris and the ESSEC business school, Jean-Charles Tréhan, 38 years old, has fifteen years’ experience in the area of communications and public affairs, in the public and private sector. He joined Air France in 2010 as Director of the Press Office, before being promoted to the position of VP Communications in charge of Information and Contents. Between 2006 and 2010, he was VP Corporate Communications and Public Affairs for the Sodexo Group. Before that, between 2002 and 2006, he was a member of several ministerial cabinets, as communications advisor to three consecutive budget ministers.

Cédric Leurquin, 36 years old, joined the Air France Press Office in 2008 as Spokesperson in charge of International Media. He has worked for over ten years in the communications industry and has held the positions of Account Manager at the Brussels office of the American communications and Public Affairs agency Weber Shandwick, after having been Spokesperson for the airlines SN Brussels Airlines and Virgin Express, then Brussels Airlines. Cédric Leurquin holds a Master’s Degree in Law from the Catholic University in Louvain and is a graduate of the Conservatory of Dramatic Arts in Namur (Belgium).

Pierre de Saint-Albin, 49 years old, is a graduate of the ESCP top business school. Since 1989, he has held various commercial managerial positions at Air France, both in France and abroad: Product Manager for the Americas, multi-market contract negotiator and Regional Manager in Africa then the Middle East at Air France-KLM. In 2012, he joined the Marketing Division as General Manager of the customer experience division and was involved in the redesign and upgrading of medium and long-haul products and services. He is currently VP for Brand and Advertising.

After obtaining a Master’s Degree in Marketing from the University of Lyon III, Sandrine Marsal joined Air France in 2002, at the Revenue Management division, first as a flight analyst and then as manager of the Africa and Middle East team. In 2006, she joined the Marketing Division to assist in the redesign project for in-flight entertainment. She is currently General Manager of the Partnerships and Event management division.
