This index is part of the internationally recognized Dow Jones Sustainability Indices* (DJSI), which track the stock performance of the world’s leading companies in terms of economic, environmental and social criteria and serve as benchmarks for investors who integrate sustainability considerations into their portfolios.
The Dow Jones Sustainability Asia Pacific Index has selected 146 companies (68 of which are Japanese) from 615 major corporations in Asia Pacific countries and regions. Companies are chosen for their “best-in-class approach” to corporate sustainability.
