AAAE announces Executive Committee, Board of Directors and Policy Review Committee for 2018-19

Alexandria, VA, 2018-Apr-27 — /Travel PR News/ — Jeanne Olivier, A.A.E., ACE, Assistant Director, Aviation Security and Technology at the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, took office this week as Chair of the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) for 2018-19. Founded in 1928, AAAE is the world’s largest professional organization representing the women and men who work at public-use commercial and general aviation airports. Other key appointments to the Association’s Executive Committee, Board of Directors and Policy Review Committee were also finalized during the 90th Annual AAAE Conference and Exposition in San Diego, which was held April 15-18 and hosted by San Diego International Airport.

“AAAE has a long and rich history of dedicated service from exceptional volunteer leaders, and we are incredibly fortunate to have another talented group of airport executives step up to devote their time, energy and intellect to help guide the Association over the course of the next year,” AAAE President and CEO Todd Hauptli said. “On behalf of the AAAE team, I congratulate each of them on the extraordinary recognition they have earned from their peers and extend our sincere appreciation for their tireless commitment to our organization and the entire airport industry.”

Olivier was one of six Executive Committee members elected by the AAAE membership during the 90th Annual Conference. Olivier succeeds Scott Brockman, A.A.E., President and CEO of Memphis International Airport, who becomes First Past Chair. Second Past Chair is Carl Newman, A.A.E., CEO at the Jackson Municipal Airport Authority.
