Chef Charial will be presenting guests with seven public dining events at The Knolls at Bob’s Bar.
Chef Jean-André Charial is the Executive Chef and Owner of the Two-Michelin-Starred Baumanière in Provence, France. As one of the top restaurants in France, l’Oustau de Baumanière is no stranger to the patronage of prominent guests such as Queen Elizabeth II of England, the Shah of Iran, Deng Xiaoping as well as French Presidents George Pompidou, Jacques Chirac, Valérie Giscard-d’Estaing and many other distinguished celebrities and heads of states.
An avid wine aficionado, with his own boutique line of wines – “L’Affectif”, Chef Charial’s stint perfectly complements the series of epicurean wine events taking place in Capella Singapore as part of the Vintners’ Tour 2012.
The culinary festivities commence on Friday, 23 November 2012 with a five-course set lunch paired with wines from Languedoc, Rhone Valley, Provence. The day continues with an Art’peritivo at Bob’s Bar with canapés prepared by Chef Charial featuring a selection of Italian wines, followed by a six-course wine pairing dinner, which includes wines from Chef Charial’s own label – L’Affectif.
Saturday, 24 November 2012 highlights an exclusive women only luncheon, featuring four women wine makers. The evening starts off with a Champagne Delamotte sunset cocktail at Bob’s Bar followed by six-course wine dinner with Spanish and French wines.
Chef Jean-André Charial concludes his three-day stint at Capella Singapore with a Wine Brunch Plethora on Sunday 25 November 2012. Guest will be enjoy an epicurean buffet lunch spread put together by Chef Charial and Capella Singapore’s own culinary team along with free flow wines from all the wineries participating in The Vintners’ Tour 2012.
