2012-09-28 — /travelprnews.com/ — Angella Vallard has been appointed Global Account Sales Director at Warwick International Hotels. Based in Denver, she will be responsible for reaching monthly, quarterly and annual sales objectives, while ensuring the optimum customer experience and satisfaction for hotel guests and prospective clients.
“Angella is an experienced professional known for her excellent organization, communication and relationship development skills,” said GPaul LeBlanc, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Warwick International Hotels. “With more than 15 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, she is able to see the big picture while maintaining sight of details and deadlines. We are happy to have her as part of the Warwick team, and are looking forward to seeing the continued success she will bring to our hotels.”
Prior to joining the Warwick team, Vallard served as Group Sales Manager at a world-class luxury mountain ski resort. Here, she was responsible for corporate group sales efforts for nine restaurants and two award winning golf courses. She was also in charge of planning and conducting sales calls and presentations to develop new accounts and to generate group business. It was at this job that she was awarded the Destination Colorado – 2011 Peak Performer Individual of the Year award.
Vallard also served as the Director of Sales of an 80-room retreat in western Colorado. Here, she planned and executed site tours; managed partner agreements with representation companies; performed forecasting and sales revenue management; analyzed sales statistics to determine business growth potential across all markets; and developed an online presence. Vallard’s experience allowed her to generate and maintain strong business relationships with clients, coworkers and local, regional and state destination marketing organizations.
Vallard earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Biological/Pre-Medical Illustration from Iowa State University. Her hospitality experience began at an early age in Colorado working at various locations in the industry and gaining skill in doing what she is passionate about. With hard work and dedication, Vallard worked her way to a leading position in the hotel industry.
