UFO cabin staff union rejected the latest Lufthansa offer

Frankfurt/Main, 2015-11-6 — /Travel PR News/ — Lufthansa offered to meet all the demands made by the UFO cabin staff union on Monday 2 November with regard to its cabin crew members’ retirement and transitional pension provisions when the social partners met for talks today. The company decided to take this step to avert the planned UFO strike action and the associated disruption for its customers.

Lufthansa also offered to provide employer-funded retirement pension provision for new cabin crew members which is in line with those provided at other DAX 30 companies.

UFO has rejected this latest Lufthansa offer, too.

The company will now focus on assisting and supporting its customers, and on planning the next steps to resolve the present industrial dispute.
