TravelClick: HSMAI’s Washington DC Chapter will host educational and networking event for area hotel industry professionals Aug. 13

NEW YORK, 2015-7-21 — /Travel PR News/ — The Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International’s Washington DC Chapter will host an educational and networking event, Budget Season Is Coming, and You Don’t Know Where to Go, for area hotel industry professionals Aug. 13 beginning at 4 p.m. at the Renaissance Washington, DC Downtown Hotel.

The event, sponsored by the Renaissance Washington, DC Downtown Hotel and TravelClick, will feature travel executives from Destination DC, TravelClick and STR, who will discuss the state of the region’s lodging industry, travel industry trends, facts, figures and viewpoints for the local, national and international markets. This information is designed to help hotel professionals develop their marketing and budget plans for the coming year.

Presenters will include Elliott Ferguson II, Destination DC president & CEO; John Hach, TravelClick senior industry analyst; and Jan Freitag, STR senior vice president, strategic development. Moderator will be Cathy Bokman, chair of HSMAI’s Washington DC Chapter and vice president of sales for B.F. Saul Company Hospitality Group.

“This event will provide key data that area hotel sales and marketing professionals need to prepare their 2016 plans,” said Fran Brasseux, HSMAI executive vice president. “Our presenters will cover a broad spectrum of issues that will impact hotel sales in the coming year.”
