Indianapolis Zoo Associate Council hosting inaugural event for emerging area leaders

INDIANAPOLIS, 2013-01-14 — /travelprnews.com/ — Emerging and aspiring leaders from across Central Indiana are invited to join the Indianapolis Zoo for a vibrant evening of great food and live music during Zoolala presented by Lockhart Cadillac.

The inaugural event will take place from 7:30pm to midnight Feb. 2 in the Dolphin Gallery at the Zoo. The Indianapolis Zoo Associate Council will host the event. Founded in 2011, the Associate Council is made up of emerging leaders from the area who are dedicated to supporting the Zoo and its mission of advancing animal conservation by actively participating in fundraising and volunteer activities.

The theme for this first-ever Zoolala is “Taking Flight,” giving a nod to both the new organization as well as the Zoo’s newest permanent exhibit, Flights of Fancy: A Brilliance of Birds presented by Citizens Energy Group. DJ Lockstar and The Flying Toasters will provide live entertainment during the event, which will also include hors d’oeuvres and open bars. This fun and exciting evening will provide an opportunity for young community leaders to engage each other in a fun social setting while also supporting the Zoo’s animal conservation efforts. Attire for the event is formal and all guests must be 21 or older.

Tickets are $125.00 per person and availability is limited. Tickets can be purchased through the Zoo’s website.
