The Whistler Mountain Bike Park will open for the 2015 season two weeks ahead of schedule on Saturday, May 2

5 Day, 10 Day, Twilight, Top Of The World And Unlimited Season Passes Available Now At Early Bird Rates

WHISTLER, BC, 2015-4-27 — /Travel PR News/ — The Whistler Mountain Bike Park will open for the 2015 season two weeks ahead of schedule on Saturday, May 2. With skiing and snowboarding still going strong in the Whistler Blackcomb alpine with a 182cm base, low snow levels in the valley have allowed trail crews to get to work on the lower section of the Bike Park to prepare the Fitzsimmons Zone for an early opening.

“We are thrilled to get everyone back in the bike park earlier than expected this spring,” says Brian Finestone, Whistler Mountain Bike Park Manager. “Despite almost having a two metre snow base in the alpine, with the help of some warmer temperatures in the valley the crew was able to get an early start to get the Fitzsimmons Zone in perfect shape.”

Those chomping at the bit to get back on two wheels and into the berms can get a head start by taking advantage of Early Bird prices available now until June 12. Early Bird rates are now available for Whistler Bike Park Unlimited Season Passes, Twilight Passes, new Top of The World Passes and new Five and Ten-Day Passes.  Also new this season is the addition of spring-time extended play hours until 8pm every Saturday from May 16 until June 13 (when extended play will run daily), adding four more evenings of twilight riding to the schedule.
