Spirit Airlines announces tentative agreement with its ramp service team members at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport

MIRAMAR, 2016-Jun-27 — /Travel PR News/ — Spirit Airlines is pleased to announce that its ramp service team members located at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) ratified a tentative agreement, completing negotiation of their first collective bargaining agreement.

The team members had ratified an interim agreement in June of 2015, covering wages, job security, union security, and benefits.  The newly ratified agreement also addresses job scope, hours of service and overtime, seniority, uniforms, safety and health, among other things.

Spirit thanks those team members that participated in the voting process. Spirit also thanks the members of both the IAM and Spirit negotiating teams for their hard work in negotiating this agreement.
