The promotion will be held during Saturday, July 20 and Sunday, July 21, 2013 and guests can taste South African delights, selected wines and enjoy a special night with a famous South African DJ.
Horizon’s Executive Sous Chef Shaun Venter, a native of South Africa, will present his first “SAFA Weekend” which will highlight the tastes, flavors and sounds of his native homeland. The two-day event offers guests to experience not only the finest foods but also the premium wines from the Graham Beck winery at Horizon restaurant & bar on Saturday July 20, 2013 from 7 p.m. at only THB 3,300 nett per person. Take it late into the night at Horizon with free entry to DJ KingSize, our special guest DJ, pumping out mind blowing vocal house music from 9 p.m. onwards.
Guests can also take advantage of the promotion at the Edge restaurant’s Sunday Brunch where there will be a special South African BBQ or “Braai” including traditional cuisine such as suckling pig spit roast, Sosaties and Peri-peri prawns. The promotion is available from 12.00 noon to 3.30 p.m. for THB 1,200 nett per person for food only and THB 1,100 nett per person including the wine buffet.
The action will then move upstairs from 4 p.m. where Horizon will be the venue for an exclusive sunset tasting and master class overlooking the bay. Executive Sous Chef Shaun together with head sommelier Alec Louw will present five of Graham Beck’s finest wines together with perfectly matched canapés.
