RCI expands its RCI Platinum® membership program

Newly added benefits take RCI Platinum® membership to the next level

HOLLYWOOD, FLA., 2016-May-03 — /Travel PR News/ — RCI, the global leader in vacation exchange, recently expanded its RCI Platinum® membership program. Launched in 2010, RCI Platinum is a premium-tier membership level that offers benefits that go above and beyond the standard RCI® subscribing membership offerings.

The program’s benefits are grouped into three categories: Priority Privileges, Exclusive Sales & Savings and Upgrades & Changes. They include early access to vacation sales, additional discounts on vacation purchases, free on-hold vacations, additional RCI Cruise discounts and much more.

Looking for ways to make the membership even more valuable, RCI responded to feedback from members by upping the ante with four new benefits:

  1. Complimentary Unit Upgrades & Changes: RCI Platinum members with confirmed exchange vacations now have the opportunity to submit a request for an upgrade to a larger unit at the same resort or a different unit at another resort in the same geographic location.
  2. Ten Percent Discount on all Extra VacationsSM getaways and Last CallSM Vacations: RCI Platinum members now automatically receive an additional discount on all non-RCI Platinum member exclusive Extra Vacations and Last Call Vacations offers, even if the trips are already on sale.
  3. RCI Deposit RestoreSM: RCI Platinum members receive full Deposit Trading Power for Weeks deposited between 270 and 181 days in advance of their Week’s start date without a fee. Standard RCI members need to pay a fee for this service.
  4. Savings Dollars: RCI Platinum members now earn one Savings Dollar for every $1 USD spent on many RCI transactions, such as paying RCI exchange fees, select membership renewals, purchasing Guest Certificates/Guest Passes and more. Savings Dollars can then be redeemed as partial payment toward the purchase of a range of products and services on the RCI Platinum Store. (This benefit is for North American members only.)
