Radisson Blu sponsored UNICEF’s #StopEbola charity dinner in Brussels

Brussels, Belgium, 2014-12-12 — /Travel PR News/ — Radisson  Blu, one  of the world’s leading hotel brands, sponsored UNICEF”s #StopEbola charity  dinner in Brussels. The charity event, organized by Think  Young and Burson-Marsteller, raised over €7,000 for UNICEF’s  fight against the epidemic of the Ebola Virus Disease.

Radisson Blu Hotels & Resorts, together  with Facebook, IBM, Intel and EFRA, supported this event to raise awareness on  the deadly disease and recognise the countless heroes who are on the front-line  every day.

On the evening, Radisson Blu Hotels &  Resorts auctioned hotel room stays at Radisson Blu Bosphorus Hotel, Istanbul; Radisson  Blu Resort & Thalasso, Djerba; and five copies of the SHE book (a collection of truly extraordinary photographs showing  the unique dignity, strength and grace of African women). Radisson Blu Hotels  & Resorts all together raised almost €3,000 from the €7,000 collected on  the evening.

In Sierra Leone, Nuno Neves, General Manager  of Radisson Blu Mammy Yoko Hotel in Freetown, and his team are dealing with the  realities of Ebola on a daily basis. Their response is widely recognised – also  by former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair who stayed recently in the hotel. Safety  & Security are always of the highest priority, and with their ‘Always Care’  attitude, all employees take responsibility to ensure the safety and security  of guests and staff.
