(USO) of Metropolitan Washington-Baltimore’s Circle of Stars at the One-Star level. The Circle of Stars is composed of corporate donors who provide generous funding to support military service members and their families through USO-Metro.
USO-Metro’s 2014 Circle of Stars is an award bestowed to corporate donors who provide funding to support USO-Metro’s mission to lift the spirits of military families. USO-Metro offers programs for children whose parents are deployed, services for military spouses and emergency housing programs.

USO-Metro Circle of Stars members were honored on October 24 at the USO-Metro’s Annual Stars and Stripes Benefit for the Troops in Arlington, Virginia. Oakwood Worldwide was honored with this award for providing emergency housing for military members and their families who are experiencing extreme financial hardship or a sudden crisis.
“Giving back to the community that has sacrificed so much to keep our nation safe is a priority for Oakwood Worldwide,” said Fred Graham, regional manager of Oakwood Worldwide and member of the USO-Metro board of directors, who accepted the award on behalf of the company. “We are honored to receive a 2014 Circle of Stars award and happy to have the opportunity to support our Armed Forces.”
