Mandarin Oriental San Francisco launched special offers in support of the American Cancer Society

Hong Kong, 2013-09-10 — /travelprnews.com/ — Mandarin Oriental, San Francisco is launching a series of special offers this October to benefit the American Cancer Society in their effort to save more lives from breast cancer. Throughout the month, The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, San Francisco and Brasserie S&P will offer a selection of luxurious delights, from spa treatments to “pink” afternoon tea high above the hustle and bustle of San Francisco, with a portion of the proceeds going directly to the Society.

“Mandarin Oriental, San Francisco is delighted to support the American Cancer Society in its fight against breast cancer,” explains General Manager Donald Bowman. “Our hotel colleagues have consistently supported the Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of San Francisco walk every October and now we have the opportunity to incorporate it into our business. We are dedicated not only to wellness and creating memorable experiences but also supporting organizations that positively impact our community.”

“Today, one in every two women newly diagnosed with breast cancer reaches out to us for help and support,” said Janna Katz, Director for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of San Francisco, the American Cancer Society’s fundraising walk on October 26 2013. “Because of supporters like the Mandarin Oriental, San Francisco, the American Cancer Society is able to do the most in every community to help women with breast cancer.  We hope to see you all at The Spa, Brasserie S&P, or at tea this October!”
