Mandarin Oriental Paris announced its participation in this year’s prestigious Vogue Fashion Night Out

Hong Kong, 2013-07-16 — /travelprnews.com/ — Mandarin Oriental, Paris is delighted to announce their participation in this year’s prestigious Vogue Fashion Night Out taking place in Paris on 17 September 2013.

For the past five years, the international editions of Vogue magazine have lit up some of the most glamorous streets in the world with Vogue’s Fashion Night Out, one of the most significant events on the fashion calendar. Vogue Paris is one of the 21 editions of the magazine taking part, and this year, the magazine will again bring about a unique shopping experience between the Elysée Palace and Place de la Madeleine : rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, rue Saint-Honoré, which is home to Mandarin Oriental, Paris, rue Royale and Place de la Madeleine. During this exclusive event, access to participating stores will be by invitation only, reserved for clients and readers of Vogue magazine.

To coincide with this exciting event, Mandarin Oriental, Paris is launching a selection of new iconic and delicious delicacies at Bar 8. Executive Chef Thierry Marx has created a special street food menu inspired by fashion, Fashion Marx. It offers dishes from the most famous fashionable cities such as ‘fish and chips’ from London or the ‘cheeseburger’ from New York. It also includes some light dishes for health conscious fashionistas such as ‘supreme of citrus fruits with smoked salmon’ or the ‘light Ceasar salad’.

Alongside the Fashion Marx, Bar 8 has also produced a new collection of It Cocktails, which will include:

  • Mademoiselle 8
    Champagne, raspberry, hibiscus and vodka
  • Top MOdel
    Orange vodka, Cointreau & tea with mango

Bar 8 is open from Tuesday to Saturday (11:00 – 02:00) and from Sunday to Monday (11:00 – 24:00). No reservation required. Alcoholic cocktail costs from EUR 26, non-alcoholic cocktail costs from EUR 19.
