London-based independent travel agent Lee’s Travel adds Dolphin selling and product management modules to existing back-office technology

LONDON, 2015-6-29 — /Travel PR News/ — Leading independent travel agent adds Dolphin selling and product management modules to existing back-office technology.

London-based independent travel agent Lee’s Travel has undertaken further investment in its Dolphin technology platform. The independent global consolidator, celebrating over 40 years in the industry, will use the extended platform to sell both directly contracted and 3rd-party suppliers via a single Dolphin selling system.

An integrated product database will be used to manage pricing, offers and communication with the company’s directly contracted ground suppliers. With live bookability links introduced for travel wholesalers including Hotelbeds and Affordable Car Hire.

All enquiries and bookings made using the new modules will be automatically transferred to Lee’s Travel’s existing Dolphin back-office system for ongoing booking management and business reporting, eliminating previously manual processes.

Commenting on Lee’s Travel’s decision to extend deployment of Dolphin, Jasmine Lee, Lee’s Travel’s Operations Director said, “Deploying an end-to-end Dolphin system will save our consultants a significant amount of time when preparing quotes and completing bookings. Ultimately of course this will result in a more efficient service for customers, by replacing manual processes with a seamless, end-to-end booking solution”.

Andy Mills, Head Of Sales & Marketing at Dolphin added, “Bringing Lee’s Travel’s preferred and contracted suppliers into a single selling platform makes the consultant’s  job of matching customer’s requirements much easier and faster.  And the resulting operational efficiency and improved service we believe are key factors to help drive sales growth within travel companies”.
