Logan Prepares for Pre-Holiday Business Travelers

Boston Logan Prepares for Pre-Holiday Business Travelers On-Airport parking in high demand, airport offers reduced parking at Logan Express sites

BOSTON – 2012-11-03 — /travelprnews.com/ — The Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport) today advised travelers that on-airport parking at Boston Logan International Airport will be in very high demand between Monday November 5th and Wednesday November 14th.

“Thanksgiving week is typically the busiest travel period as families travel for the holiday but demand for on-airport parking peaks earlier in the month as business travelers schedule last minute trips,” said Massport’s Director of Aviation Edward C. Freni. “Last year approximately 1000 travelers took advantage of this popular program.”

To help reduce vehicle trips to the airport, Massport is offering a special Logan Express parking rate of $22 – a 55% savings over the standard weekly rate — between November 5 and November 14, 2012 for 4-14 day parking. Travelers must enter a Logan Express parking lot between 12:01 a.m. on Monday November 5th through 11:59 p.m. Wednesday November 14th to be eligible for the special parking rate.

Logan Express parking lots are located in Braintree, Framingham, Peabody and Woburn.  Full service bus terminals and parking are available at each location. Children under 12 ride free and active military personnel traveling in uniform may ride for free on any Logan Express service.
