Edinburgh, Scotland, 2016-Oct-19 — /Travel PR News/ — A Holiday Park in Dumfries & Galloway has been awarded a Four Star Quality Assurance (QA) award from VisitScotland.

Lighthouse Leisure Caravan Park on the Solway coast at Southerness was upgraded to Four Stars following a recent assessment visit by a Quality Tourism Advisor, in recognition of the excellent quality of accommodation on offer.

The static and touring caravan park is only a short walk from Southerness beach and the historic lighthouse which is open to the public. There is also a leisure centre with pool, coffee shop, entertainments room and children’s soft play area.

Developed and improved for over 30 years, VisitScotland’s Quality Assurance (QA) schemes are world-leading and provide a trusted, independent and impartial source of information for visitors. They allow businesses not just to meet visitor expectations, but exceed them.
