KLM Royal Dutch Airlines received 4-Star Airline Rating status from airline research organisation Skytrax

London, UK, 2013-07-09 — /travelprnews.com/ — KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has been upgraded to a 4-Star Airline Rating, reflecting the improvements that the airline has made to the quality of the Airport and Onboard experience KLM.

The 4-Star Airline rating is a seal of Quality Approval awarded only to those airlines that achieve a good Quality performance across the many areas of front-line Product and Service delivery which are assessed by the airline research organisation, Skytrax.

“Skytrax has assessed and monitored the KLM quality improvements to the cabin product and front-line staff service areas onboard and in the airport environment during recent months, and we are delighted to announce their upgrade to this 4-Star Airline rating”, said Edward Plaisted of Skytrax. “One of the areas which helped to achieve this 4-Star Airline rating of KLM is the introduction of their new full-flat seats in World Business Class, which are being refitted across their widebody fleet in the next 2 years.”

By June 2014, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines expect to fit this new product to 22 of their Boeing 747-400 aircraft, with 15 Boeing 777-200 aircraft due to be refitted between August 2014 and October 2015.
