Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa Enjoys Busy 2012 Awards Season, Honored with Four Prestigious Awards

The resort’s recent awards include the Pinnacle Award from Successful Meetings, the Greens of Distinction and Award of Excellence from Corporate & Incentive Travel, and the Best of the South award from Meetings South magazine.

Successful Meetings presented Hilton Sandestin Beach with the Pinnacle Award for a mark of excellence for meeting destinations, hotels and conference centers demonstrating outstanding service to their meetings, incentive travel programs, trade shows and conventions. After more than 27 years, the Pinnacle Award has become the most credible and prestigious symbol of excellence among meeting professionals and travel suppliers. This is the ninth time the resort has received this award.

From Corporate & Incentive Travel, Hilton Sandestin Beach received the Greens of Distinction award for the 13th consecutive year, as well as the Award of Excellence, for the 14th consecutive year. The Greens of Distinction award is presented to hotels, resorts and conference centers demonstrating an outstanding commitment to their golf courses, meeting facilities, food and beverage offerings and customer service. The Award of Excellence is selected by subscribers of the magazine who vote for resorts/destinations that best served their corporate meetings and incentive travel programs during the past year.

The Best of the South award from Meetings South is judged on the quality of meeting space, guest rooms, guest services and amenities, food and beverage service, high-tech services and equipment, recreational facilities and activities, the efficiency and helpfulness of staff, and overall value and experience. This marks the 13th year in a row Hilton Sandestin Beach has won this award.
