Poolside restaurant and sunset lounge introduces new menu, design, monthly happy hours and poolside events

Miami, FL, 2016-Mar-23 — /Travel PR News/ — Four Seasons Hotel Miami introduces a newly renovated poolside restaurant and sunset lounge, Bahía.  Tucked atop the 7th floor of the AAA Five Diamond Hotel, the two-acre tropical oasis was recently named one of the Best Hotel Pools in Miami by Conde Nast Traveler.  The recently redesigned restaurant introduces a new menu along with a series of monthly events – Bahía Nights and Hops & Hammocks – inviting guests to experience one of the best rooftop pools of any Miami hotel.

Nestled between a cascading water wall and a resort-style pool, the soft renovation introduced more seating and shade for those looking to enjoy the warm South Florida sun.  The enhanced Brickell restaurant Bahía now accommodates up to 110 guests between the full-service bar, lounge seating and main dining area, shaded by eight oversized umbrellas.  A new menu highlights flavours from the quintessential beach shacks that line the South Florida coast down to the southern Keys, with dishes ranging from USD 12 to USD 35.  Offerings include a blue crab quesadilla; Key West shrimp rolls; Bahía burger with Vermont cheddar and pineapple bacon chutney; Southwest steak salad with Creekstone Farms churrasco, tomatoes, sweet corn, crunchy tortillas, black beans, queso fresco and agave lime vinaigrette; a Key West-style key lime pie and more destination-inspired selections.  The Bahía bar menu features classic and Miami-inspired refreshingly tropical concoctions, along with red, white and sparkling wines-by-the-glass, and local craft beer on tap with other brews also available.

Bahía Nights are Back

Once a month, the restaurant transforms into a moonlit lounge for a revival of the original Bahía Nights.  The once-popular after-work Brickell hot spot returns with a monthly Happy Hour taking place the last Friday of the month from 6:00 to 9:00 pm, through the end of May.  Featuring Veuve Clicquot Rosé by-the-glass and Belvedere Vodka, Bahía bites and specialty cocktails from USD 9, live entertainment and more fun surprises, the neighbourhood’s newest Happy Hour will be one not to miss. No cover charge. No velvet ropes. March 25, April 29 and May 27, 2016.

Hops & Hammocks

The first Saturday of the month, Bahía hosts Hops & Hammocks from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.  Craft beer specials highlighting local breweries go hand-in-hand with a special poolside barbecue and live entertainment.  Guests can come for the beer and á la carte BBQ specials, and stay for some poolside pampering with one of four private cabana packages, starting from USD 150.  Saturdays spent basking in the sun are one of the best things to do in Miami.

Bahía is open from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm and is accessible to outside guests.  Pool passes available to the public for USD 35 per person and includes access to the resort-style pool and the separate wading area with hammocks suspended from the towering royal palms.  With Miami’s tropical climate, Bahía’s updated design and fresh menu offerings make it a welcomed escape for a casual midweek lunch break, poolside cocktail or weekend soiree.
