Flybe designated one of its Bombardier Q400 aircraft as official ‘Love Plane’ to celebrate Valentine’s Day

Devon,UK, 2014-2-13 — /travelprnews.com/ — Europe’s largest regional airline invites UK to ‘Follow Our Heart’ for Valentine’s Day!

Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline, has designated one of its Bombardier Q400 aircraft as an official ‘Love Plane’ to celebrate Valentine’s Day tomorrow. Decked out with hearts on its nose and underbelly to be visible from the ground, it will operate scheduled services in and out of seven UK airports over the next two days.

The airline is inviting members of the public to ‘Follow Our Heart’ by taking photographs of the aircraft either in the air as it lands and takes off, or when it is on the ground and to then use social media to share in the fun – social@flybe.com; #followourheart. The person who in the opinion of Flybe submits the best photograph will receive two return flights for a romantic weekend for two to Florence, the prize to also include hotel accommodation.

Airports included in the aircraft’s flight programme are as follows:
Thursday 13th February: Manchester, Belfast City and Cardiff
Friday 14th February: Belfast City, Birmingham, Glasgow and Southampton

Paul Simmons, Flybe’s Chief Commercial Officer comments: “In past years Flybe has been responsible for a number of love stories, from passengers sitting next to each other on flights and falling in love, to proposals mid-flight, so this year we thought we’d quite literally put some love in the air with our Flybe ‘Love Plane’! We hope that people will enjoy ‘Following Our Heart’ and join with us in sharing this somewhat different approach to mark Valentine’s Day. We look forward to seeing some great photos and that the eventual winner will enjoy flying off with us on a special break to one of the most beautiful and romantic cities in the world.”
