2013-08-06— /travelprnews.com/ — Carlson Rezidor, one of the ten largest hotel groups worldwide, announces the Park Inn by Radisson Almaty Airport in Kazakhstan. The mid-market property featuring 133 keys is scheduled to welcome the first guests in Q4 2014. It will further strengthen Carlson Rezidor’s portfolio in Kazakhstan: In Astana, the group already operates a Radisson Blu hotel and has a further Park Inn by Radisson hotel under development. In Russia/CIS & the Baltics, Carlson Rezidor is the largest international hotel operator.

The new Park Inn by Radisson hotel will offer 133 contemporary and comfortable rooms, an all-day-dining restaurant (285m²) and a bar (240m²). The modern meetings and events space will include a 200m² ballroom, a 240m² pre-function area and 3 smaller meeting rooms. The hotel will enjoy great visibility from the airport territory, and will be located adjacent to the terminal building. The property will be accessible by various means of transportation and is only 18km north of Almaty city centre.
Almaty International Airport is the largest international airport in the country and serves as a major Central Asian cargo hub. Almaty is the former capital of Kazakhstan and the country’s largest city. It is a key financial centre in Central Asia and a major commercial and cultural centre.
