Brussels Airport launches its new summer timetable

In tandem with the start of Daylight Saving Time on 26th March, Brussels Airport is launching its new summer timetable which runs until October. The summer timetable includes 10 new destinations and welcomes two new airlines to Brussels Airport.

Brussels, Belgium, 2017-Apr-03 — /Travel PR News/ — Brussels Airport is expanding its network with 10 new destinations: Brussels Airlines is adding new flights to Mumbai (India), Comiso (Italy) and Yerevan (Armenia). TUI Fly is adding Araxos (Greece), Brač (Croatia) and Volos (Greece) to its summer destinations. Eurowings will fly to Salzburg (Austria) several times a week throughout the summer season. Air Arabia is adding the new destination of Fez (Morocco), Blue Air the Romanian city of Constanta, and Sun Express the Turkish city of Ankara.

The 2 new airlines which will further strengthen Brussels Airport’s current network are WOW Air, which boasts daily flights to Reykjavik, and Cobalt Air, which flies twice weekly to Larnaca.

Flights to be resumed

In addition, a number of Brussels Airport routes will be resumed. Delta Air Lines has resumed its daily flight to Atlanta and both Thomas Cook Airlines and TUI Fly will resume their flights to Enfidha in Tunisia.

Qatar Airways and Thai Airways International will also use their new-generation low-noise Airbus A350 at Brussels Airport this summer.

‘With 10 new destinations and 2 new airlines, Brussels Airport is providing additional connectivity to our country. The resumption of Brussels Airlines flights to Mumbai and Delta Air Lines’ service to Atlanta are particularly crucial for the international accessibility of Brussels and Belgium’, says Arnaud Feist, CEO of Brussels Airport.

In 2017, Brussels Airport, in collaboration with 66 airlines, will be connected to as many as 208 passenger destinations around the world, 143 of which are within Europe.
