British fashion designer Jonathan Saunders teamed up with Thomson to create limited edition of beach wear and beach bags

Luton, UK, 2014-03-19 — /Travel PR News/ — World renowned British fashion designer, Jonathan Saunders, has teamed up with leading holiday company Thomson to create a limited edition range of beach wear and beach bags for women and men. He has also designed and accessorised a bespoke pool area at the new 5 star Sensatori Resort Jamaica set on the beautiful seven mile beach in Negril, which will open on 1 May this year.

Glaswegian born designer Jonathan Saunders, who has dressed Royalty and A-list stars including the Duchess of Cambridge, Victoria Beckham, Sarah Jessica-Parker and Beyonce, has used his signature style prints and bold colours to create a chic range of beach bags for women, a range of sarongs and a casual bag for men.

The stunning sarong is available in four carefully selected colour palettes, and features a mixture of bold, bright and subtle tones, inspired by the breathtaking Jamaican scenery and picturesque surroundings.

The beach bag for women is also available in four striking colour combinations, using a similar colour palette. These bags are inspired by Jonathan’s famous graphic print dress worn by the Duchess of Cambridge on the Jubilee Tour and feature an on-trend repeated pattern. Men also benefit from a touch of holiday glamour through this collection with a grey, blue and white casual bag, featuring both a long strap and short handles, both practical and stylish for the beach or pool.

The exclusive luxury accessories will be given to guests at the new 5 star Sensatori Resort Jamaica when it opens on 1 May and for those who are not able to visit the new resort, the limited edition range will also be available to purchase in selected Thomson shops across the UK.

Guests at Sensatori Jamaica will also be able to lounge by the Amber pool and beach area, which has been exclusively designed and named by Jonathan Saunders. Featuring bold coloured cushions, Bali beds, drapes and umbrellas in Jonathan’s signature off-beat print and colour combinations, the Amber area will offer guests a harmonious environment to relax in.

Jonathan says of the collaboration: “The backdrop to the new Sensatori Resort Jamaica was the starting point and the inspiration for designing the beachwear and the Amber pool area in the hotel – Sun, sea, sand, colours and relaxation. Choosing the colour palette to run through the Thomson designs was the first thing I did, combining bold Jamaican brights with relaxing earthy tones and the idea of a repeated graphic taken from a dress worn by the Duchess of Cambridge worked perfectly for the beach bags. For the pool and beach area, this was my first interior design project and I drew on my experience of studying design, fashion and textiles to create a relaxing area for guests to make their holiday unique and help them unwind in the sun. Together with Thomson I have thought about every detail and hope the luxurious touches will make the holiday experience for guests at Sensatori Resort Jamaica even more special.”
